Describe the feature
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As mobile developers using Acode, we face a few workspace cluttering and environment compatibility limitations during daily coding and package installation.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would love to suggest three key feature enhancements that would drastically improve the developer experience for everyone:
- Option to hide specific files/folders: An option in the settings to hide directories like
node_modules or specific build/config files from the sidebar file explorer to keep the workspace UI clean and scannable.
- Alternative internal environments (Debian/Termux): Providing a setting to switch the internal terminal environment from Alpine Linux to a proot Debian or a native Termux-based environment. This would drastically improve package compatibility and stability.
- Android Storage/Permission Fixes: Enhancing how the internal environment handles Android's scoped storage permissions, as it currently throws permission failures or interrupts the installation of certain npm/node libraries.
Additional context
These suggestions were highly supported by other users in a recent terminal issue discussion (#2170), where we agreed that these changes would elevate Acode's position as the best IDE in the mobile coding sector.
If applicable, add mockups / screenshots to help present your vision of the feature
