What can you do I get a boot failure? #469
|
I use Macruin Reflect to backup all Linux distros and Windows, but after restoring AmdiunOS 2.04, the PC refuses to boot also can't find a bootable disk. Upon checking all the partitions are there. Is it possible to fix an unbootable AndiunOS? |

I have never hard about Macruin Reflect.. AnduinOS is using btrfs by default. If anything goes wrong, simply revert a snapshot. If the system doesn't boot at all, please burn an AnduinOS USB stick. Boot that stick, and open the rescue center in the live env. The rescue center can repair the grub\revert snapshot\emergency terminal. If it doesn't, please provide info so I can improve the rescue center. |

I reinstalled AndiunOS 2.04. It seems that enabling swap corrupts the backup. I backed up the install deleted all the partitions and the restored the backup and restarted and it boots. |
Oh you don't have to backup the swap parition. Just backup the root partiton is fine.
