GetLegendGraphic label font #172

Hello,
I'm using Thredds, which uses edal-java to generate the GetLegendGraphic image, and I need to customize the font in the GetLegendGraphic so that it uses the same fonts as the rest of the application.I looked into edal-java source code and it seems to be hardcoded to Sans-Serif, is it possible so that the style/sld defines which font should be used?
