There are two use cases for this request. 1. Instructors would like TA's to grade student work manually but not see the names. 2. Instructors would like to share student answers (especially short answer responses) with the class but want to keep the student anonymous. A checkbox to enable/disable student names doesn't really satisfy #1 (which I think is less common)
