Splitgate servers shutting down in August of 2025

What is the status of this effort? With the recent news of the official servers shutting down this August, I would like to help in any way I can to try and develop a privately hosted alternative.

i haven't tried it in a while but technically it should still work. the private server lives in this repo (https://github.com/SplitgateDevelopment/Backend), so if you want to add new features i suggest tracking game requests using a mitm proxy tool such as Fiddler then open a pr there.
this is the repo for a custom launcher that allows you to go ingame (only with bots) with the custom backend running, but since the artifacts expired you need to copile it yourself using visual studio.
if you have custom maps already downloaded you can also play them
