Please stop using Squirrel Setup for installation

Laravel Herd installer is based on Squirrel Setup which only installs the program. I want to customize installation and change the install folder. I had the same issue with GitHub Desktop. I couldn't even choose the existing PHP and Node.js folders.
There is a feature request asking for option to change the install folder and the contributor said "No' in the first reply. #1622 (comment)
