Description

<LangVersion> examples should not be set to preview when it's not recommended to use latests or preview.

Don't set the LangVersion element to latest. The latest setting means the installed compiler uses its latest version. The value of latest can change from machine to machine, making builds unreliable. In addition, it enables language features that might require runtime or library features not included in the current SDK.

Hi @perclausen

Yes, some of the samples in this repo use the <LangVersion>preview</LangVersion> element. That's because those snippet projects are for articles that document preview features.

For that reason, we do use the preview setting. We do encourage customers to try our previews and give us feedback. That said, we don't recommend preview releases for production environments.

I'll add this to our backlog and we'll update the language when we next update this article.
