- truthful nominative references to the original project;
- unmodified redistribution that preserves the original name and clearly identifies the source;
- statements such as “based on Process Bus Insight” that do not imply endorsement; and
- links to the official repository or project website.
Separate written permission is required for:
- using the project name or logo as the primary identity of a materially modified product;
- OEM or white-label branding;
- claiming an official, certified, approved, sponsored, or endorsed relationship;
- using branding in a way likely to confuse users about origin or maintenance; or
- registering confusingly similar product names, domains, accounts, or marks.
Modified distributions should use a distinct name and clearly state that they are modified and independently maintained. Commercial branding rights may be included only in a separately negotiated agreement.
