Hello, Today was our first Sunday using CHUMS check in for our K-6th grade class. overall worked well, we are just tracking attendance at this time, no name tags or parent pick up features yet. But one thing we did run into was adding a child who was not already in CHUMS, what is the best way to go about that? I saw that if I put in the last 4 of my phone number and clicked on my household it would allow me to add a guest from that screen, but there did not seem to be a way to add a guest who may be a first timer at church, that wasn't a visitor of someone in a household. 200460.mp4Is this something that could be added, or is there an existing solution going forward? |

Usually churches will set up some kind of welcome desk and ask first time visitors to check in there rather than using the self check-in kiosk. That way key information can be collected, emergency contact/allergy info for kids, waivers, etc. The kiosks are reserved for people who have completed the initial registration. The welcome desk would enter them via the Chums web interface and from that point forward they can use the kiosks. |
