Thumbnail video loading performance issue

Hello, FreeShow is a great and very helpful church presentation software. I really appreciate that this app is free and continuously improving. However, I want to give one important suggestion regarding media thumbnail loading. Currently, loading thumbnails for backgrounds or videos is quite heavy. It often causes freezes, lag, or slow UI response, especially on low-end PCs.

I know that several users have already reported this issue before, but it seems that the problem still exists until now. If a user only has around 50–100 backgrounds, the loading is still manageable (maybe). But many churches have 300–500+ backgrounds, and at that amount the loading time becomes extremely long and causes serious delays. Also, sometimes thumbnails are not saved in the cache folder.

Since operators need to quickly see media previews before going live, having smooth and fast thumbnail loading is very important. I hope in future updates there will be improvements such as:

1. faster thumbnail generation without loading
2. remove lazy loading
3. and better performance on low-spec PCs

You need to use the latest version! 1.5.5
The thumbnails did not generate at all in 1.5.4.

Yeah, I have tried it, but can you make it so it doesn't load again when I scroll down and then scroll back up? (just asking)

Okay. I can't remove lazy loading, because that will actually slow it down a lot more. But the thumbnails should load super fast when they actually work.
