Z from thickness / color

Hello Sameer,

Thanks for you tool, I really appreciated it. It works incredibly fast compared to Inkscape.
I am playing with pen drawing machine and wondering how difficult would it be implement Z position of the pen from thickness or color of the line in the SVG.
It could give us more options:
Different layers could work as an Layers
Gradients on the line as dynamic pressure imitation / or maybe laser intensity
or
Grayscale of the line could as well drive other motor for example pressure screw or rotating of the brush.

The original goal of this tool was to take 2D shapes and convert them into X&Y paths.

I like the idea of being able to control Z and other things based on the SVG, but I'm not sure how best to integrate it. Feels like we'd need a scripting + template feature
