im a bit paranoid of deleting things, but yes, I guess it can just be deleted |

now you broke CI :D But I guess that CI check can just be removed now that we no longer have these licenses in here? |

right now the builds are broken because the bot attempts to symlink everything and "licenses" dir exist in both software-layer and software-layer-scripts repo
the one here is outdated and deprecated
