Unable to find an entry point named 'UFS_GetRefTypeTypeTree' in DLL 'UnityFileSystemApi'

After replacing UnityFileSystemApi.dll with the one in Unity 2022.3.61, the issue happens. Is that a known compability issue?

All entry points of the dll are listed as below, and there is no "UFS_GetRefTypeTypeTree".

Thanks for reporting this.

It is known that older versions of the dll are missing this entry point. They were added recently to support Unity 6.5 features.

I think we either need to fix UnityDataTool "analyze" to be able to work with older dll that is missing those entry points,
or remove the documentation that recommends using a matching version of the dll.

Could you let me know:

• Does your analyze call work properly if you use the version of UnityFileSystemApi.dll that is in the git repo, instead of the Unity 2022.3.61 version? I believe it should work so long as you have typetrees because of backward compatbility.

If it doesn't work they you might need to run with an older release of UnityDataTools prior to the new methods being added.

Actually it looks like that method was added quite a lot time ago, at least 4 years

so my suggestion to go back to an earlier release of UnityDataTools is not very practical.

I was confused with some newer APIs that were added more recently in #60.

I think trying what you want to do with the versions of UnityFileSystemApi that are in this git repo and in the release zip files is probably the best bet. But please let me know how that turns out.

It's ok now. We keep using the versions of UnityFileSystemApi that are in this git repo, and it works fine.
