Unfortunately not at least for the time being—I'll be leaving Quansight for a new job (this is my last week 🥲), wherein I was given the space/resourcing for all my work on the Data API projects including this. Going forward I'm still very much invested in Data APIs so will answer questions on my work on issue trackers, but probably not have time for much else.

At least with dataframe-interchange-tests, the focus was on me building a test suite for what is a fairly stable API, and then reporting bugs myself for all adoptors. That said it'll be a shame as I won't be around to maintain things and catch new problems like you've done here. Plus there's definitely room for improvement.
