Don't merge this one on its own — it breaks the Storybook build. This bumps only @storybook/react-vite to 10.5.0 while storybook core stays at 10.4.6, and Storybook's packages must move in lockstep. @storybook/react-vite@10.5.0 pulls in @storybook/react@10.5.0, whose preset imports getComponentIdFromEntry from storybook/internal/common — an export the 10.4.6 core doesn't provide — so the React preset fails to load.
This is the same 10.5.0 bump split across three interdependent PRs — #254 (@storybook/react), this #255 (@storybook/react-vite), and #256 (storybook) — and each one alone leaves Storybook in a broken mixed-version state. They're only correct if all three land together.
CI here is green but doesn't exercise it: the only build-storybook runs in the Chromatic workflow, which is gated on paths: lib/** and so never triggers for a lockfile-only change. Even when it does run, storybook build exits 0 despite the preset failure — it only logs Failed to load preset — so a red build wouldn't show up as a failed check either.
The durable fix is in Renovate config, not this PR: .github/renovate.json already groups react-router and tailwindcss ("framework packages are peered and released together; do not split runtime and build tooling"), and Storybook has the identical property but no such group — so it got split into three. I've opened #257 to add a Storybook group; once it merges, Renovate will supersede these three with a single grouped 10.5.0 PR that builds cleanly.
