Hi, I'm Dylan Buchi 👋

I'm an early-career full-stack developer based in Geneva, Switzerland. I turn messy workflows into focused SaaS products and build primarily with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL.

My background includes a software engineering internship, small freelance projects, open-source contributions, and several years of independent product development. I'm currently looking for a junior or early-career full-stack engineering role where I can contribute to real product work and keep learning from experienced engineers.

Selected work

A deployed hackathon workflow that helps bookkeeping firms collect explanations and receipt context for unclear transactions before month-end close.

  • Built with Next.js App Router, Clerk Organizations, Amazon DynamoDB, private S3-compatible storage, and Playwright
  • Includes firm-scoped workspaces, private client links, transaction review states, and CSV import/export
  • Currently a controlled fake-data pilot and not ready for real customer receipt data
  • Devpost submission · Video demo

A private-source, repo-native control and evidence layer for serious Codex development. It provides scoped tasks, bounded workers, independent review evidence, and closeout gates that reject stale proof.

  • Submitted to OpenAI Build Week; results pending
  • Built with Node.js, CLI tooling, Git hooks, and automated test gates
  • Devpost submission · Video demo
  • Private repository with public architecture and demonstration evidence

A futuristic interactive portfolio built during a 48-hour design challenge.

  • A3 Web Design Challenge 2126 Portfolio category winner
  • 4th overall, scoring 198/300
  • Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, responsive motion, and static deployment
  • Source · Live site

Experience and open source

  • Completed a software engineering internship at acheteur.ch, contributing React and Next.js components in a TypeScript monorepo
  • Delivered small freelance projects using Python, Flask, JavaScript, and MongoDB
  • Contributed 13 merged pull requests to The Algorithms — Python
  • Independently built and deployed SaaS prototypes, developer tooling, and full-stack applications

Core stack

Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Backend: Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
