Summary
What shipped
Users can now password-protect individual manual preview deployments from the dashboard. When creating a custom preview, a "Make private" toggle lets you set a password (minimum 8 characters). Anyone with the password can view the preview without a Mintlify account. Available on Pro and Enterprise plans when site-level authentication is not enabled.
Note
Low Risk
Documentation-only updates that describe new preview access controls; no runtime or security-sensitive code changes.
Overview
Adds documentation for password-protecting individual manual preview deployments via a new Make private option (including minimum password length, plan requirements, and incompatibility with site-level auth).
Reworks the Restrict access section to present two distinct access-control paths—per-preview password protection vs org-wide Preview authentication—and updates introductory copy/links accordingly.
