Overview
Mint login for agents: The new-site workflow now tells agents to run mint login in the background, have the user approve sign-in in the browser, and on cloud or remote sessions to have the user run mint login locally (browser OAuth can’t return to the agent machine). The same guidance appears in mint instructions new-site for the “has a Mintlify account” path.

docs.json variables: The configuration reference now states that variable keys are case-sensitive (placeholders must match exactly), that undefined {{placeholders}} no longer fail the build—they show as literal text on the published site—and that mint validate catches undefined variables before publish.

Minor copy: The second-site bullet under mint deploy is tightened to “For a second site, run mint deploy --new --subdomain <name>.”
