Currently, we have a configuration overrider approach, which would be nicer to have as a simple POJOs (+ Builder) to pass to the operator instance.
Note that at some point this configuration should override the onces coming from annotation to compute the final result. We have to also think about SB and mainly Quarkus integration.
we plan to work on v6 just sometimes next year, we are only in a phase to gather issues, which might or might not end up in v6. This issue is an example of such. So I'm not against working on this, and see where it leads, but note that
might not be merged at the end
would be released no sooner as Q2 2027
If you are interested I can try to find an issue for you.
Thank you for explaining! I understand that v6 is still in the planning
phase and that this issue may or may not be included in the final release.
I would definitely prefer to work on an issue that is more likely to be
merged in the near term, so if you could suggest an issue that would be a
good fit for me, I’d really appreciate it. I’d be happy to explore it and
work on it.
Thank you for offering to help me find one!
